# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • Golden fries meet smoky BBQ spice and gooey melted cheese in every bite.
  • The homemade ranch dip tastes leagues better than anything from a bottle.
  • It uses mostly pantry staples and frozen fries, so you can pull it together anytime.
  • Perfect for game nights, movie marathons, or when you need something crowd-pleasing fast.
02 -
  • Don't skip flipping the fries halfway, I learned this the hard way when one side stayed pale and sad.
  • Add the cheese right when the fries come out of the oven so the residual heat helps it melt faster and more evenly.
  • Make the ranch dip ahead if you can, it tastes even better after sitting in the fridge for an hour.
03 -
  • Use a wire rack on the baking sheet if you have one, it lets air circulate and makes the fries even crispier.
  • If your fries aren't browning enough, broil them for the last 2 minutes but watch them closely so they don't burn.
  • Let the ranch sit in the fridge for at least 20 minutes before serving, the flavors bloom and it thickens up just right.
